Welcome to all of our Clovis South Area students, families, and community members! You are all officially part of The Thundering Herd! I am excited to share this momentous occasion in the history of Clovis Unified and to invite you all to become active members of the Clovis South Area Longhorn Range! As the construction of the Terry P. Bradley Educational Center continues and we prepare for its opening in 2025, the Clovis South Area is well represented by our elementary feeder schools, Virginia R. Boris, Fancher Creek, Satoshi “Fibber” Hirayama, Temperance-Kutner, and Janet L. Young.

The Clovis South Area vision to be COHESIVE, COMPETITIVE, and CUTTING-EDGE establishes our legacy. Our Mission is to adapt to the future while building extraordinary students in Mind, Body, and Spirit! The Thundering Herd is Clovis South Strong, with our area elementary staff setting the foundational values in our youngest students. I am confident that we are creating Longhorn Leaders who represent the herd's strength, loyalty, compassion, and grit.

The Clovis South Area educational team embraces our community partners and will continue to utilize highly effective educational systems to ensure student success in all areas! Our cohesive mindset reminds us that we are never alone in the herd. Our competitive spirit is rooted in our founding Superintendent’s core values, where Doc Buchanan prompted us to compete against ourselves, a standard, and within a team. Our cutting-edge approach will set us apart as the newest Clovis Unified comprehensive area.
